Who We Are

Since 1992, WFCC and its parent company, Wetland Development Corporation, have been at the forefront nationally of providing services relating to land designated as wetlands, floodplains, and other ecological habitats. With a reputation for on-time and high quality service, advice, and project management, WFCC delivers profitable results for every imaginable industry and agency addressing a wetland or floodplain issue. In fact, we view every wetland, floodplain and ecological habitat designation not as a burden but rather as a technical challenge to be addressed and/or as a for-profit "eco-development" opportunity.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS

Our Company's founder, Mr. Sokolove is now Chief Executive Officer of Womble Carlyle Ecology Innovations, LLC. In 2009, Bob Sokolove, the founder and owner of Wetland & Floodplain Consulting Company, LLC ("WFCC"), teamed with Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC, to form a strategic partnership managed by Mr. Sokolove: Womble Carlyle Ecology Innovations, LLC.

WFCC retained its separate identity, rights and obligations, but no longer offers its services to third parties. Womble Carlyle Ecology Innovations provides most of the services previously offered by WFCC, now supported by substantial additional personnel and resources.
