In 2009, Bob Sokolove, the founder and owner of Wetland & Floodplain Consulting Company, LLC ("WFCC"), teamed with Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC, to form a strategic partnership managed by Mr. Sokolove: Womble Carlyle Ecology Innovations, LLC.
WFCC retained its separate identity, rights and obligations, but no longer offers its services to third parties. Womble Carlyle Ecology Innovations provides most of the services previously offered by WFCC, now supported by substantial additional personnel and resources. Wetland & Floodplain Consulting Company, LLC (WFCC) is a full service organization providing advice, consulting, legal representation, trial support and preparation in the fields of wetlands, wetland regulation, flooding, flood maps, flood events and other related fields more clearly described below. Robert D. Sokolove, Esq., who is the President of WFCC, has been involved in the legal, regulatory and for-profit development side of the wetland and floodplain management fields since 1977.
